Saturday.........................................

This is how my day went....

I woke up around 5:30. I was thinking of what day is it today; It is a Saturday...I went back to sleep. Oh no.It is a Saturday!! I have a 9am class to attend to. I woke up at 6:30 and I left the house at around 7:10(I'm such a slowpoke..and also because of my 30 -minute mirror thing,which is now reduced to 5 minutes)..

I rode a van bound to Lawton;I thought I was going to be late.

9am-English class..we had a presentation of a telephone conversation. It was a good thing that I had already memorized my lines the day before the presentation. It was just a short conversation though.

10:30-Math class.. I didn't copy the last example because I was thinking of another solution to that integral problem and as I looked upon the solution of my professor,It was kinda incorrect...Poof!!

One classmate of mine told the professor about the incorrect part of the solution..

"At least nasagutan natin diba kahit mali ung umpisa", she quoted..haha^_^..Indeed,It was incorrect yet we were able to come up with an answer. So she resolved it then finally arrived with the corrrect answer.

Then she left without saying anything.I was expecting a "okay you're dismissed" or a "Bye class" but to my surprise,she left without saying a single word..weird huh?

I immediately left the campus;The Grand Youth Fellowship starts at 1pm.

I arrived at exactly 2pm..They were still having the praise and worship..

The fellowship ended around 4:45......

I went straight to the nursery for a practice for the worship101 recital,which is on September 2,2007.

The practice finished at 7:15...still have 15 minutes for the CLDP class(Christian Life Development Program)...

Good thing that Kuya Jem(a Y.A) and Vanessa(from the Youth Ministry) were my classmates...

Our class finished at 10:00 pm...

*NOTE*.....

I haven't eaten anything(as in---breakfast/lunch) from the moment I woke up until the end of the GYF(that was around 5:00,I believe)..SO from 6:30am-5:00 pm,there was no food intake..

from 5:00pm-10:00pm, all I have in my tummy was sandwich and juice..

Galing noh? God gave enough energy to be able to do a lot of things without anything on my stomach..

Truly enough,God is so good and powerful..."Impossible" is nothing to him..

Matthew 3:8-10..and my thoughts upon it

"Prove by the way you live that you have really turned from your sins and turned to God.Don't just say, 'We're safe-we're the descendants of Abraham. That Proves nothing. God can change these stones here into children of Abraham. Even now the ax of God's judgment is poised, ready to sever your roots. Yes, every tree that does not produce good fruit will be chopped down and thrown into the fire."

Yes, I'm a Christian. I'm saved. But it doesn't stop there; My 'being a Christian', is not just a label or a title given. Thus, it means that you have to live according to Christ's life,turn away from your wicked ways and be Holy.

I admit,dati hindi ako ganito..Pasaway at kung ano ano pa..I have encountered numerous Giants in my life...Struggles, problems...etc....

Pero ayun,pinulot ako ni Lord sa basura kong buhay;Binago and now I'm more than willing to serve Him...Hindi lang natatapos sa pagiging Christian ang silbi ko..I now I'm called to do more for HIm..

His plans are yet to be revealed..I know He will...

Christian ka nga,Pero ang mga gawain mo makamundo pa rin...That proves nothing..

Nagkaroon ako ng three stages sa aking buhay after maging Christian..

After I received Jesus Christ | The middle part | at yung ngayon..

After I received the Lord, Overflowing joy fills my heart, I was praying and thanking Him everyday for His Goodness..

The middle part: I somehow became complacent with my responsibilities, Mejo tinamad akong magdevotion,mag pray..mag share...

AT ngayon: tinapik ako ni Lord, pinaalala na hindi na ako ung dating ako..Na dapat ngayon, c Lord na ung nakikita sa kin.. Nakakahiya kay Lord dahil dun sa Middle Part ng "three stages" ko eh parang nawala ako sa kanya..Yes, I know I'm saved nung time na un but still, I went with the flow of the world..

It is yet,another reminder that we,as Christians, are now Living for Christ and not for the world..

COG's 17th Anniversary

7:45-I arrived at the Church..I went straight to the prayer room to check if there are already youth workers there..

I was chatting with my Kuya Mike, then I told him that I have problems waking up early..He told me that he asks God to wake him up..hehe nkk2wa lang ung usapan namin..

And so,after my quiet time with the Lord, I jumped into my bed, I closed my eyes and thought..Lord, sna magising ako bukas ng maaga,,may prayer watch kami,,kahit mga 6:30 po Lord.....

To my surprise,namulat ang aking mata ng mga 5am..Praise God!! galing galing,,,

After our devotion, we went upstairs to assist in ushering the people into the sanctuary. Only a handful of people were getting inside the church..Pero little did I notice,napupuno na pala ang sanctuary and the next thing we knew,there were already people standing at the back. Xempre we also ushered them to the seats available.. =)

The 10:30 service ended at around 1:00. We ate at the coffee shop then went upstairs,again, to usher..hehe..

1:30,the next service started..it's for the matinee,..daming youth!! sobrang nkk2wa tlga at mraming nanood,,hehehe at ayun mraming nakatok na souls..=)

andun ako sa likod,ksma c kuya mike at chanelle..nakatayo sa may exit at nagtatak pag may lalabas...

4:00- the matinee service had finished and ayun! Sobrang daming tao ang nakapila sa labas para sa next presentation..galing galing!super puno ang sanctuary..hee hee

Tpos pmunta kme ni kuya myk sa prayer room..and we talked..It's so memorable..It's so nice to talk to someone and to share your struggles and be able to learn a lot from him,xempre, c Lord din ang gumalaw at nangusap samin nun..=)

Saya saya ng anniv ng church..

Galing ni Lord,kc ung mga bgay na kailangan kong isubmit kinabukasan e naging wednesday,,hehe ayun..Praise Him!

Super sarap tlga ng feeling..ung magserve,mag praise and worship s knia..minsan nga speechless na ko eh..hehe

my eyes burst with tears as we bowed down and pray...God spoke to me and gave me a burden..to reach out for lost souls..It's a big duty from God that I have to take seriously thinking also about the fact that I'm still a baby christian..Brother Ryan,the drummer from the praise and worship team, had shared that around 150,857 die everyday..it struck me and made think...How many of them have already received Jesus Christ? How many of 'em have seen and experienced His great Love and Promises?..

Reach out ...reach out....Do not be complacent within the four corners of the Church...There are many souls out there waiting to be saved..bring 'em up here and share about the goodness of our Lord...

I still have many things to learn..I know God will continue to reveal His plans for me..

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "They are plans for good and not for disaster,to give you a future and a hope. In those days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for me in earnest,you will find me when you seek me"..

~Jeremiah 29:11-13

Oh Lord I hunger for You...My heart cries out to you..

The word from the service also struck me..It is about being a servant of Christ, a bondservant..
It means that you have fully submitted yourself to your master..

are you willing to serve God?are you willing to serve HIM?Giving not only a part of you but ALL of you..another question that had risen amidst my thoughts...

What will happen next is yet to be revealed by God..I know I cannot do this alone,only by His grace I shall be able to do his plans for me..

Oh Lord I love you..please use me mightily ...may my voice be used for His Glory...

my heart is now filled up with joy as I poured my thoughts upon this...

what a great evening this is..praise God...=)

IMAGINE

At last.an update..^_^..I've only just arrived from church,particularly from my super fun fun worship101..Grabe tlga un ang sarap mg praise and worship kay Lord..Knina we discussed about how to give praise to God..Then afterwards we had the Praise and worship..I went home perspiring a lot..it seems like I came from my PE class..^_^...

Now going on with my post,...God made the earth in just 6 days..wonderful isn't it? The sun,that is about 100 million atomic bombs,came from the Lord..Now imagine the Promises of Christ that we have been waiting for for about super tgal na..=) super ganda nun..kc ung earth nga lang 6 days nia gnwa lalo na ung mtgal n niyang promises sa atin.

Look at the colors of the earth,The blue waters,green grasses..blue sky..Imagine the grasses red..or the waters turned pink..hehe mejo ndi yta bgay..pero dba the Lord is so great that he designed all things accordingly..=) For sure,,the colors of the earth are pale compared to the colors of heaven,,there would be greater blues,greens and reds..Praise God! continue to seek him =)


So un,each time we sing praises to the Lord,we should give our best,think that it's our last..

All those who are planted in the house of God shall flourish...
We are like plants that were before planted in pots..Imagine that,potted plants can take so much water gradually..the purpose of the holes at the bottom of the pot is for the water to run through..if you give so much to a potted plant,more than it really needs,it will rot..because it's capacity is limited..the pot serves as boundaries for the plant to grow..

Now, as christians, we have to be planted at the house of God to grow..we have to break the limits that hinder us to grow spiritually...

Being planted on the field,we have lots of space to grow in..we can take so much without wasting it because our roots are buried deep within the soil...

In relation to that,our roots, should be strong,cannot be shaken or destroyed..then God will bless us more than what you can think of..

Music For Christ

Yesterday,8th of July we started our worship101..

It is basically a class for Musicians/Singers....
There are two fields in Worship101,Technical and Spiritual.Technical,as the name implies speaks of theories about music,elements,exercises to further improve our skills.Spiritual on the other hand focuses on how worship started,ways of worship,etc. Spiritual and Technical come hand-in-hand in the music ministry. According to Sister Rolet(hehe i dunno if i spelled it correctly),"No matter how good or skillful we are,If we do not have the right heart,it is useless.." . We should know our purpose for such talents..

After I passed the auditions..We were grouped according to our voice range.I was grouped with the tenors..

Things we did within the two sessions of the technical class..
-breathing exercises
-elements of music
-...dami pa nklmutan ko n agad lagots hahaha

Technical class starts at 2pm SHARP..ends at 4.....
The Instructors were strict when it comes to punctuality..ok un para pagdating namin mismo sa field e time-conscious kami..

Spiritual class....
suuupppperrr fun fun fun nito...

before we start discussing,we had a praise and worship..It is said that music or worship prepares our hearts for the word of God..

after about 2 hours of discussion..
we closed the class with another praise and worship..

a day with my God

nice! ,,it's a wonderful sunday morning..I'm supposed to go to church around 8 to attend the prayerwatch,but i have to do some chores at home hehehe...I have to clean Pare's aquarium..haha by the way,he's a flowerhorn....around 9:30,shower time...haha then i left at around 10:15am..=)

10:40 I arrived at COG dasmarinas,i went ahead to the sanctuary...it's really nice to give praises and worships to Him..the Preaching was about Contract and Covenant =)

1:30 i met ate Ara,my worship101 classmate, then we checked the function room to see if there were already 101 students there...


past 2pm we started the orientation of 101,we had breathing exercises and some technical discussions 'bout music...hehe it was fun,,throat-aching..hahaha

4pm-we left church and went to our house..session session session...XP..mejo mtgal na kong ndi nkksali sa session..hihi...sharing,,bible reading.ayun...

we also played with trisha the bulak dog..hehe then we ate dinner..

tpos mga 9:30 hinatid namin si ate willa sa may doyet's(sa may anabu na..haha)tpos c kuya mike bumaba sa may patindig araw..hehe XP

1:30 am.My buddy Julz is chatting with some mapuan,Justin playing the guitar,and I,,,blogging!! hahahaha toinx!=)

a while ago we we're bleaching haha pero ayun mejo ngkatamaran so we took a break ..



hahaha wla lang..just want to share the outline of my day..haha

wonderful saturday

saturday-9am-COG sanctuary

a transformation/revival and fasting was held, i came about 8:50 and i met Aj then we entered the sanctuary.Oops,before pla kme pumasok ng sanctuary i went downstairs and checked the bulletin board,i looked for my name and ate Ara's name to see if we passed the worship101 audtions. *Poof* we passed!!(clap clap) and I was in the group of Tenors while ate Ara on the Alto's. (^_^) Tomorrow's the start of classes and I dunno what to expect.=)
Going back to the revival,it was fun,knowing that you're fasting for a purpose.We prayed for the nation as well as it's leaders.There were praises and worship,praying and some speakers preaching.I didn't feel the hunger 'coz busog na kme kay Lord!! haha it's fun to be a christian. Although at some point i felt hungry, nwwla nman xa everytime we praise and worship.
